MISSION STATEMENT: The Dunedin Family History Group’s purpose is to promote interest in the field of family history through educational programs, to collect and disseminate genealogical knowledge and information, and to provide support and guidance to those trying to research all aspects of their family history.

The Dunedin Family History Group is a friendly group who have an interest in how to research your family and we love to share our knowledge with others.
We hope that we can help you find a source you didn't know about, and let you explore ways of displaying some of the information you have. We intend the Group to be about sharing knowledge and so invite participation by everyone. Please use our website forums.
We have a special interest in the history and resources of Otago and Southland, and helping people in this area to research their family and local histories.
